Select same material

Hi,
the command from the material browser menu can be very slow when the model is complex
to my knowledge there is not a plugin that does just that - can this be right? -
Hmm, not that I know of. Does Thomthom's selection tools hav this built in?

nope, wow that's funny, we've got loads of delete, flip, replace etc...

Well, its not often that someone writes a script that dulpicates a thing that SU does natively. I'm not convinced that a ruby could do it any faster than the built in method wdoes it.

perhaps if the sketchup code hasn't been touched for a while (probable) a ruby might be faster?

I was pretty sure I had this, but it appear it is only Select Connected by Material...
