copy plugins from 7 to 8
open 8
bugsplat - thats odd. lets try again.restart 8 - okay! looks like I have a problem. once more with feeling!

bugsplatremove pasted 7 plugin folder and put back 8's plugin folder (alway make a backup kids!)
restart 8
no bugsplat?
so now adding back the plugins 1 & 2 at a time till I find out which one was doing it....

That is possible. There were a few things changed in the was SU handles ruby that coudl cause rubies to not load. A splat is more than I would have guessed, but it sure is a possibility. If you discover what plugin it is, make sure to post your findings so the author can fix it.

I have 2 systems. Both are WinXP, and have SU 7 and 8. One will animate, and the other crashes to the desktop as soon as the progress bar comes up.
