European House rendered in Shaderlight
-
European chateau? Does it look like a castle? Sorry but it's more like a "bunker house" to my italian architect's eyes...
-
LOL changed title, by the way im not an architect.
-
A few pointers:
- lighting is very flat, adjusting the curves in photoshop can help
- i dont know if this is a shaderlight thing but its looking a little grainy.
- mixture of billboard plants and photo montage looks odd, i suggest one or the other.
- the grey walls could do with some bump if its an exterior render.
- take care with your light sources on the photoshoped vegetation, the lighting on the plants near the camera doesnt match the lighting at the back..and none of it matches the lighting on your model.
- don't crop the top of the roof off, its bad for the composition.
Keep going tho its got potential!

Better title.

Thanks for your comments Viztecture! I think some of your comments are definatly valid although the lighting would be flat in this environment/scenario as its a very photometric overcast sky as seen in backplate. The HDR I used for lighting was also shot at the same time and location as backplate so im not sure how lighting could be different? I agree the billboard plants look aweful and this is what came with the model from google warehouse. I didnt want to spend to much time changing the model as im really just testing Shaderlight out to see what its capable of. Thanks.

I agree the lighting is spot on with the backplate in all but its direction. I guess what I was getting at is i was looking at it as a work of art and not a technical exercise in HDRI. The overcast grey hues don't make the building pop out my screen. As a test tho its ok!

The image is quite noisy and aa is not right. Just little warming, colour contrast and vignette can change the mood. I hope you do not mind.

I dont mind at all Sepo, and yes I agree there is to much noise in this image and it could definatly do with a little more attention in terms of exposure/colour and post effects which I will fix when I re-render the scene. Thnaks for your comments guys.
