RoundCorner Plugin

I recently downloaded the RoundCorner plugin, and when I open SketchUp I get this error message: "Cannot load plugin RoundCorner because the script cannot create DEFPARAM_Dir folder in:
/Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 7/SketchUp/Plugins Please create it manually, respecting the case"

Any ideas on how I should deal with this.

Also, this is my first post, so feel free to say if I'm doing anything wrong.

It is just a problem of security. Your setup on Mac prevents creating folders from programs or script presumably.

So, just create it by hand in /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 7/SketchUp/Plugins, respecting the case, as indicated.

Note: This folder is used to store default parameters for the plugins (and other plugins).

In my SketchUp plugins folder I have a folder called ROUNDCORNER_Dir_21 a file called ZLoader_RoundCorner.rb A folder called LIBFREDO6_Dir_34 and a file called LibFredo6.rb and I still get the error message. I have downloaded other plugins and have not received the error message. Any ideas?

I have installed in on my mac with no problems. All the folder and files you list are correct. I am assuming that you have read the Quickcard Roundcorner PDF thats in the roundcorner_Dir_21.

I am not sure what respecting the case means but if it has anything to do with upper and lower case letters then I would have to say my plugins folder is all lower case.

When you download zipped files do you have your mac set up to automatically unzip them and then put them in the downloads folder?

Your installation of RoundCorner is probably correct.
The issue is with the DEFPARAM_Dir folder which you must create manually in /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 7/SketchUp/Plugins.

Did you do it?

I have looked all over and cannot find the DEFPARAM_Dir folder. Where might I find that?

Precisely, you need to createthe folder yourself manually (the script RoundCorner cannot create it automatically).

And in the end it was that simple..... Just create my own folder.
If only the rest of life's problems were that simple
