Identification

I thought about printing copies of my SCF avatar on sticky print paper, cutting them out and wearing them as stickers at the Basecamp.
-
Or you could print it on a paper plate, punch eye holes and tie a string to it and wear it as a mask.
That would be a good idea, though. SCFers, wear your avatars!
-
Mine would be too irritating - both to wear and to look at.
BTWI remember when we got our registration cards last time with our (real) names on it and I borrowed one of those thick markers from the registration desk and added "Gaieus" on mine.
Actually it was not a bad idea because there were some who identified me this way (like Pete who then ran to the reg.desk himself to "amend" his card with "solo" of course).
(I still have this old one and may bring it with me as well as my 3D BC T-shirt - unless my belly is too big now)
-
I actually though about getting a T-shirt printed up, and if I have time....
But if not your suggestion is really a good idea.(actually I thought you actually looked like that Eric) -
Only when I am happy.
-
Please do not (repeat "do not") post the "When I'm mad" avatar
-
O come on, it is not that bad...
-
That's a good idea...both - the avatar and the username.
My username comes from my online name for my beetle...whenever we get together at car shows people more often call me Marvin than Antoine. LOL
But, meeting folks after seeing their avatars and usernames for so long it would be easy to walk past someone you have talked to for years if they just had their proper names on their name tags. -
I now have T-shirts with solosplace.com printed on them. I used them at Siggraph and other networking venues.
-
I'll get a t-shirt screen printed with my username i think.....
I wonder if jarynzlesa from the Czech Republic is attending?
That guy wouldn't get lost!!
-
I agree. If jarynzlesa was walking around with that kitten there would be no doubt.
-
Kurt would return home with some interesting memories too I guess....
