Drape maddness

Apart from all too often crashing SketchUp and missing lines - I just encountered another abnormality with Sandbox's Drape tool:
I give this tool a Frustration Rating* of: 9
(On a scale from 1-10 where Toolbar Shuffle rates 20)

I found a way around this particular example - just select all hidden edges. But this is more of a report of how unpredictable the Drape is.
