Evening shot

Attached is a revised evening shot.the bluish tint on the previous image didnt look right for the time of day so i warmed the image in photoshop.I then cropped the image as the original composition looked somewhat unbalanced.
I also remembered to mask out 3 windows to the rear of the building where you can now see foliage.What I always try and do is get as much contrast in my images as possible,sometimes it works,sometimes it dosent.
I will need to go back and revise the stone work as originally there was no displacement which is obvious on some of the corners.The left hand side of the stone work,above the corner window at the lower level was altered in photoshop to try to fix this.I think it partially works but it will need more work.

Below is a rainy evening shot.all the materials had a reflective layer added (highlight glossiness 0.75,reflection glossiness 0.9,8 subdivs)The internal lighting hasnt worked as I hoped so its back to the drawing board,so to speak.

A great image the last
It's a pity that some materials (especially the wood, the stone and the roof on the left) and the interiors look a bit flat. The oxidated copper and the foreground vegetation are superb. -

The last image! Love evening rain shots, did you post pro the drops? For me a little less dense or in reality you may be expecting spray from the buildings and water running on ground. and given night shot (slower speed) the drops would be much longer - maybe 1/4 depth of image but also faint so not to obstruct (they aren't in one spot long enough to get enough exposure) - hope all makes sense mate?

I really like the mood - it makes me imagine it must be really cozy indoors
Also the composition of the rainy shot is much better than that of both preceding images.
However I do agree with massimo about the flatness of some materials; the added reflectivity emphasizes this even more. -
My jaw is starting to hurt from all the great renders I'm seeing here.
The rainy evening render is absolutely incredible.

Well, I like the contrast range of the second image, especially on the rock wall, but not the colors (I know its a suppose to be a evening render), but I pp it as a daytime one:
I especially like the grass at the base of the tree in the foreground, and the use of trees in the mid ground. I would have added people on the deck, perhaps children playing. -

Reminds me of once a builder mate of mine had a 18,000 litre water tank colapse and flood an elevated hillside house - the engineer had designed the tanks stand though only allowed for 5,000 litres and lost his butt as the house was then complete and habitated!

attached is a winter shot using the same visopt as for the summer evening shot.the only thing difference is that I used a different treeline in the foreground to cast shadows on the house.But this didn't work as I hoped as the shadows from the trees still have a lot of foliage indicated.Ill do a re-render with more winter type trees.The real benefit is that all the snow,planting,sky etc is all on individual photoshop layers so once I have the new render done it is simply a matter of dragging and dropping the render image into the photoshop file,with some small colour correction.
I am working on an Autumn scene using the same elements and hope to upload next week.
