Sketchup ,just a question

Hello Everybody,
Recently, I begin to be interested in 3D (computerized).
By making some researches, I discovered sketchup.Nevertheless, a fast reading (it is true)
, I would like to know if this program could answer my problem.I have an application which uses on a directx ( file.x ) and on the other, an associated file of texture (file.dds )
I shall like knowing if sketchup allows me the recovery of this kind of file (3D object and texture) plingin to add? Is it necessary the professional version? -
