IRender nXt - New Version 3.0
-
We have released a new version of IRender nXt - 3.0.
IRender nXt is a fully integrated rendering add on for SketchUp. Easy Wizards define lights, reflections, and other rendering properties and store all the setting in SketchUp for easy reuse as you modify your model. A free 30-day trial is available, and support is provided both here on SketchUcation and on our own Forum.
One of the biggest features of this new version are the new Plant and Material and the Arroway Texture library sampler. (More than 5,000 materials and more than 600 plants.)
There is a new 30-day trial period for the new version if you have already tried IRender nXt and would like to try it again.
See: Version 3.0 for more information, and to check out the more than 20 new features implemented sine the release of Version 2.0 a year ago.
Also, look for the announcement of our Rendering Contest tomorrow and your chance to win a free copy of IRender nXt or other great prizes.

Congrats with your new version, Al...
But why do you post this announcement here in the SketchUp Discussions section...??
It's my understanding that you should post these kind of announcements in the Extensions & Applications Discussions section... -

..why didn't I see this before? Sigh... Just bought the new Vray, which is giving me endless trouble. Because I can t(yet?) render with that, I downloaded the iRender demo. It's excellent! Beautiful results, absolutely on a par with Vray; far more intuitive interface; and some nice environment options too. It renders a big model that makes Vray crash without a glitch, and pretty fast at that. So much for impulse buying. I'm seriously considering getting this anyway. Congratulation to you and your team Al!

Thanks Martin. I just sent you a PM with a link to our Competitive Discounts page if that will help lower the pain you are suffering.
We are adding some great features to the Beta test version this afternoon, such as lighting channels, which let you adjust the intensity of individual lights after the rendering is completed.
