I would like to add a button to the Large Tool Set default set under View > Toolbars. For now I have to create a custom set of toolbars but found I use only 3/4 of them all the time. Is this possible without rewriting the entire app?

      Thanks,

      V.7

Are you trying to say that you want to take out/add into/rearrange the Large Tool Set?
        If so not possible.
The large tool set is basicly (from left to right) the Principle, Drawing, Modification, Construction, Camera and Walk through toolbars all in one. So its possible to make the Large Tool Set without having it out, that means you can choose any of these sets and modify with some others-or just plainly re-arrange them to your bidding.
Mac users have the option to choose what tools they want in their sketchup, just so you know.

There is a "Custom Toolbars" plugin by Jim Foltz:
          http://sketchuptips.blogspot.com/2008/06/custom-toolbars-release-08-06-01.html
Read the instructions he provides on the plugin page. A bit of a hassle to set it up at first but then you don't have to worry about them any more.
