Alias Sketch better than SketchUp?

Is the new Alias Sketch for AutoCAD going to be better than Google Sketchup?
I just saw a video and realize autocad came out with such a sketching software. I was quite amaze with it.
Are they going to beat SKP soon? -
Cannot say yet as I have not tried it, it does look great and I certainly will try it.
No Google earth....yay!!!

Only one problem, and it's a major one.....Autodesk/AutoCAD.

they don't look like competitors to me.. not even close.
[well, not for what i (along with most other people?) use SU for.. or maybe i'm not actually seeing what alias sketch is supposed to do?]
it looks like all of the toolbars are pencil,pens,brushes, colors etc....

Alias Sketch appears to be the legacy with enhancements of Alias Sketchbook that Autodesk purchased from Alias Wavefront, I think. It was a "simple" sketching and painting application sort of like Artrage. It appears that Autodesk took the core program and expanded it to do more stuff.
I have Alias Sketchbook Pro on this TabletPC I am using right now. It does not have orbiting or bezier like warping abilities. That is more like Photoshop CS4, I think.I like the features and workflow I see in those videos.

Last November I put it on my IT wishlist for this year. So I am hoping to get a copy to play around with soon. It oes look intersting for visualization.
