Does anyone know if or where a plugin is that combines SketchUp materials to one canvas. This will help with Unity3D.

Please explain a bit more clearly what it is you are after...
Do you want to make a new group of face 'chips', each with one of the model's used materials added to it ?
There's no plugin I know of, BUT it'd be relatively easy thing to do...

In SU7 you can do that already. Select the faces with the texture, Right-Click->Combine Textures.

Thanks everyone for the very fast feedback. I do know about combine textures in sketchup- sucks that it makes things blurry, but it's still cool so I still give them credit.

I thought I saw a plugin one time that took all your textures and put them on a few bigger canvases so you would have say 5 large textures instead of 50 textures. Hope that makes sense

Moved the thread to the Developer's forum. We have reorganized so that the Plugin section is only a list of plugins you can download and use. 🤓

Weird -- I can't get the Combine Textures menu option to show up. Are there certain rules that have to be in effect for this to appear?

                Faces must be co-planar.

And at least one has to be an image - pure color materials will not make it show up. So if you have only color materials, first select a single face, right click and choose "Make Unique Texture". Then that face will have an image applied to it, and you can then access the "combine materials" option from the right click menu.

ah! thanks (duh on my part)

Make Unique only works with 1 face selected, correct? Is there a plugin or method to do make multiple selections unique at once?
