Render this: Escher - Belvedere
-
Piranesi quick one.
-
Well its obvious that I don't really like Eschers drawings. So I tried to turn it to a mess. I also tested the SU obj export to blender on this more complicated model. Everything works fine. Imported again to SU as 3ds and exported two 2d SU raw (deferent lighting, transparent background), PPed in photoshop.

Looks like Escher meets Dr. Suess. Maybe you should enter it in the Speed Model Challenge!

Thanks, but here's another one. We need some perspective view but you know the problem. So here's an attempt. Rendered with podium.

Thanks Frederik.....yes kind of Stairway to Heaven

Great work here sid.
When we are in front of a distorted geometry, when we are in front of a simple cube, when we are in front of a paradox, then we all produce interesting scenes. When we have to deal with a customer... then we should remember what elements turn a simple scene to art. We should be in the mood for this. -
Thanks Michalis. Your comment is spot on.

I wish I could say I built this, for real or SU but I did not.

These three new posts are beautiful.
We are creating an interesting gallery here (IMO).
Suitable for christmas cards too, paradox can be beautiful, and happy new year. -
