Assign colour picker to key
-
Is there any way to do this? I'm really tired to click hundred times on that colour picker icon

By colour picker, you mean the material sampler ("eye dropper") tool?
By default, B is assigned to the Paint **B**ucket and if you hold the Alt key while using that tool, it will turn into the material sampler. -

Ah, cool. I was a bit confused by the "colour picker" term (especially because "AFAIK" on the Mac, there is indeed a colour picker in the Material browser
that you can use to match something... I don't know) but then I double checked and saw you are a PC guy.Anyway, download the appropriate "Quick reference card" (a one page pdf document) which contains all the default modification keys for the different tools here:

I've recently:
- Switched back to SUPro PC version
- Running on Windows 7
The problem is that the "Match Color on Screen" color picker on the Materials Edit tab does not pick up a color from another open window.
Has anyone else had this problem? -
I just installed Windows 7 last week. I am not noticing a problem as you describe with the Match Color on Screen. I was able to pull colors off my desktop background and from a web page I had open.

Thanks, JamesD.
Actually, it's not the response I was looking for because that means I have a machine-peculiar problem. Arrrrgh
