Walk through animation

does any one know how to create a walk through animation ... i would like to build a 'landscape'model ... animate walking through the model ... and then export the file as .avi

Hi Ian and welcome!
You will need to create/add scenes to every camera position you want to include in the animation.
There are some tricky parts but explore these tools first and we can go on with the details.
Once your animation is set up, go to File > Export > Animation menu and after setting the options, press the button (and go to make a coffee or even dinner).

Do add the 'X' keyboard shortcut. (See keyboard shortcut section, beginning of Chapter 10.) You'll be glad you did.
