Is there any Laptop models that are any better when it comes to WiFi strength?

(Bonus if the laptop also is a small form factor.)

I have not tried them, no.
I haven't got any experience with laptops other than the old Packard Bell I got. It's a model that's at least 5 years old.

Try Apple MacBookPro on (Airport) Wifi; very good connection. Steady and fast.
