Just to let those of you that tried and liked the ARmedia PlugIn know, Inglobe Technologies have now launched an Exporter and Player. Currently Win only but a Mac advised to be on the way soon.

Exporter and Player allows users to autonomously create and publish augmented reality files.Files created by the Exporter can be visualized on any computer with the freely available AR-media
Player, without the need of having SketchUp and the ARplugin installed.Users can now create their own SketchUp AR models and distribute them to their clients as independent, stand-alone files and let their clients experience such models in AR in a click.
The main users of the ARmedia Exporter tipically are: Content Creators, Media Professionals, Construction Firms, Designers and Design Firms, Architects and Engineers.

Please, note the AR exporter is a plugin for ARmedia. You need to buy a licence for exporter even if you have already an ARplugin license.
