      H All

I am working with a large SU file of a house (about 80 megs) and finding before i even get to start rendering in Vray the system is terribly slow.
I have a Gigabyte system, 1,2 gigs RAM, 256 GEForce card, duo core motherboard. Any ideas on how i can speed SU up
      Cheers

What version of V-Ray do you use?

Lots and lots of components/groups can slow the parsing V-Ray do before it starts rendering.
But the single factor that slows down the parsing is materials applied to groups/components. Instead you should ONLY apply material to faces. There's a plugin that will automatically transfer all group/component materials onto the faces inside.

After setting up the renderer, save your sU file, RESTART your computer, open up the file then start rendering, youl see how fast its change....
