The light glare on the first picture is a bit over the top, but the rest are really nice. Reminds me of the style of Fable 2 (which is an awesome game). I like the interior shot, too!

Very well done! In the impeccable style of Hayao Miyazaki. Great work, and thanks for posting it!

They look great, prisoner. I think a lighted window in the night render would help it.

Great model, reminds me of a RPG on PS3 that came out last year. Can't think of the name but it was cell shaded in much the same way as your model. I know it had 'Chronicles' in the title but as this aluminium dust has played havok with my brain πŸ˜’

Thank you for your positiv feedback. You're really feeding my motivation β˜€
Gaieus, Daniel, you're right, the heavy fog and glare are over the top sometimes. It's there to cover up some ugly transitions πŸ˜‰ and to find the right style. I'm still playing around a lot with every single sliders I can grab.

Right you are. Didn't know anything about lights in Artlantis back then. Now I know and since I forgot to close the shutters, someone has to be awake. Here we go:

I like the interior scenes lighting, the doorway textures could use some work though.

I am also working on a castle, but I have to be able to build mine for a grandson. Mine will be more of a castle abstraction built in wood.

Hey, everybody is building castles here? I've been planning mine for a while - actually hesitating between a cathedral and a castle (maybe a monastery? that can be both).

Anyway, good to see so many of these kinds of models. πŸ˜‰

Roger, Gaieus, as an inspiration, have a look at this site:
                          http://www.castlemagic.com/color.html
On the top you'll find more than a dozen links to some really nice Castle plans.

Some crazy guys from Idaho, who actually build you a castle... if you have some 100ks to spare πŸ˜†
How the market for castles might be faring in this times of crisis... ???

Well, not bad, not bad, but we have our own castles here (in fact, I've worked in a couple at archaeological excavations). See a couple of them attached in a kmz file.

I mean seriously that I'm planning to model them (reconstructed, probably different phases of their history) - just it's not a day or a week to do.

but i can see the texture of the wall!
