Script for Nodes / Vertices to Point (Guidepoint) ???

Does anybody know if there is a ruby script or plug-in to convert the nodes/vertices of all selected geometry types - lines, polylines, arcs etc into points (guidepont crosses).

My AddVertex+.rb does this, it also splits edges and faces depending on which modifier-keys you use as you pick... http://www.crai.archi.fr/RubyLibraryDepot/Ruby/EM/AddVertex+.rb
My recent TrueTangents script also helps put cpoints at the true tangent points etc - from a cpoint to an arc/circle and common tangents for two arcs/circles...
