      I am working on a model for some weeks now and somewhere along the way it decided to do this when zooming in on something:

      [attachment=0:iq1zcfcy]<!-- ia0 -->bug.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:iq1zcfcy]

      This is extremely annoying but I don't know how to get rid of it.

        This occurs if you're zooming in really close on something small. SU doesn't like very small values.
        Also if your model is far away from the origin, or if you have some geometry located far away from the origin. (SU doesn't like very large numbers either.)
        Search the forum for "camera clipping" for more info if you need.

            Yeah, it definitely looks like the good,old clipping issue. Have a look at this trouble shooting page at Google if you can find any clue to fix it.
