Is there a way to edit UV's in SketchUp?
-
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there was a way to edit UV's in SketchUp. From what I've read I gather that there is no UV editor in SketchUp. So I'm assuming the answer to my question is no. If this is true is then are there any plugins or "work arounds" that allow you to edit a model's UVs in SketchUp?
thanks,

Whaat has a plugin that can do spherical and cylindrical UV mapping, but thats as good as it gets.

Remus,
So the initial UV's that SketchUp gives you are all you get for a non-cylindrical or spherical object?

Well you can change the position of the texture and stretch it a bit, but not proper UVing.
to do the moving/stretching thing: right click on a single face with applied texture->texture->position then click the little handles on the texture.
