I assume youve already followed the instructions here: http://www.smustard.com/script/Organizer ?

yes

i wish i never bought bought this plugin... this plugin is just a nightmare to work with it just doesnt do what its supossed to do. even though i got it working, if you move something, which your supposed to!!! its messes up the whole folder structure and it keeps telling you things are missing and wrong!

There are certain scripts that might not work entirely well with organizer. You probably should email RickW directly about it through the smustard website.

i think that's what it it is chris, cause when i removed these certain scripts, for example, parametric grid.rb the errors seems to fix itself. its definitely, not an organizer, but rather a third party script problem.

Many scripts are compatible by default. But there are things that a script author could do that would break the compatibility. Generally scripts that have lots of submenus or load other scripts are often not compatible with organizer. I've written all of mine (as far as I can tell) to be compatible with organizer. So if you don't organize mine, they all go into Chris Fullmer tools menu. But if you do organize them, they wherethey are told to go. It takes a few extra lines of code, but I think its worth it because I like what organizer is doing.

can i delete the oceans, examples, and utilizes folders? or does sketchup needs these to operate? what are they for?couple of weird folders, ocean, and model of ocean floor? google earth? i dont use google earth? can i delete these folders?

Those contain scripts that come with SU. If they are mssing stuff up, edit the test file - I forogt what its called. Organizer do not include list. Add those directory names to that file. One name per line, spelling and capitalization count. Organizer will then ignore those folder.

You don't need to delete these at all because you can disable them from Window > Preferences > Extensions. In this case they don't even load when SU is started.
Since they are packe with SU by default, I wouldn't delete them either. Chris is right; it could cause unexpected errors. -
Scrambled scripts - like Didier's ellipse and others - can't be 'organised' with Rick's organiser. Nor can be those scripts that are not meant for Plugins menu (i.e. Draw, Tools & context menu scripts). Fredo6's Freescale etc, and other authors' "complex" scripts have their own often multilevel menu placement logic, so I don't bother organising them.
However, I still use Organiser for all the other scripts to avoid complete chaos When an 'organised' script gets updated by its author, you have to go through all the steps again, which is a pain. All in all a better script manager is really needed.

I suggest you lobby the other authors to make their works Organizer-compatible. That would cut down on the headaches for users.

Unfortunately, a script manager relies on standards. If authors are unwilling to follow - or don't know about - the standards that allow the manager to function, things won't get any better.
