Autocad Import settings ?
-
Hello,
Is there any options to make some Import settings to finetune the import.
For example: To include/exclude any sort of primitives like 3DPoint, Lines etc.
I can import my Autocad drawings properly with Blocks of 3D Faces, but get 3DPoints visible which acts as Grip-Points in autocad.
But I do not want them in SketchUp.So any chance ot filter them on import?
(Or must I delete them from the blocks in Autocad before?)Regards
Hans-Peter

The 3DPoints comes in as Contructions Points in SU, right? If so, I think you can use Edit->Delete Guides to remove all Guidelines and Construction Points from a model.

Thanks for the tip.
Works as suggested.
All guides has gone.Other question: My Autocad data was made in metric/mm and now I get a wrong length.
Must I convert my Autocad to Inches before importing. -

When you import there's an Option button in your file dialog. You spesify there the units of the imported DWG. -
Thanks again. I missed this options-button.
