      Dear All,

I am an old fashioned architect, but recently was introduced by youngsters to Sketchup and Vray, and i was amazed to see its capabilities, i started working day and night on it and have become an intermediate level user, here is a sample of sketchup model rendered that i am being able to produce, but this is nothing compared to what other experts in this forum are producing, this is my learning after two months, but i dont seem to go any further than this, i want to become an expert in Vray and Sketchup but sadly cannot find any book or training videos that help.
please guide me how can i pursue this new passion of mine, how did you guys become so amazing at all this ? did you have some special training ?

Your modelling certainly looks up to scratch 👍

As for the rendering, some different textures for the grass and brick work would be good, theyre tiling (where you get a repeating pattern that can be seen when the texture is spread over a large area) quite a lot at the moment.

Remus is correct: about 80% of quality rendering is due to good textures. You definitely need to change the textures in that model - apart from this, it's nice for only two months!

            Ok, Guys:
You need to reply to his two questions at the end of his post.

First, I don't think I am "amazing at all this" therefore I didn't reply on that. 😄
The other thing is; practise, practise, practise - and lurk all around the forums to find out how all the others are achieving results you like.

I myself have never taken any training so I cannot speak for others.
