Ideal Internal Field of View

What would be the ideal field of view for internals? When I model I usually have my FOV at 35deg but when you get up close you don't see an awful lot. Is 60deg a bit more like it?

Yeah, 60 degrees is a good start, the best thing to do is play around, really. Different angles will work for different interiors.

Also with bigger angles you can perform more dramatic effects that can suit interiors quite well.
