i was surfing SketchUcation while rendering a high resolution image with podium, when i came back to SU look what i found:
i tried the technique of opening another copy before i closed the fuuced one but the new one opened the same way -
Ouch.
Toolbar Gremlin strikes again. -

Yeah ... Still ... 7 is a really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really great update!
Really!
Excellent stuff! Totally worth the wait! A feat of both creativity and intellect! A milestone in the history of 3D software!
And to those who dare to whine about 7: just be thankful! Jeez! Your investment is safe!
Really!

errh... none the less, SU's toolbar management is poor. There's no other way to describe it. xrok1 screenshot demonstrates this clearly.
Whether or not SU7 was a good upgrade isn't the issue here. The toolbar problem has always been a problem. -

Which is odd to begin with. An app that costs β¬ 331 (I am a Pro user) should most certainly not have this sort of shortcomings. The main question, I believe is: why didn't Google adress this issue? They worked on 7 for what - 2 years?
The way I see it, SU 7 is very much relevant to discussions like these, as it is an excellent pars pro toto with regards to Google's take on 'development'.
As a paying customer, I must admit to being fairly ticked off at this time. I hope time will prove me wrong, but at the moment, I am convinced we shouldn't be expecting much from Google anymore.
