Foreign language + English subtitles or broken English?

There are some video guides on Youtube created by non-native English speakers. In some cases, they have a strong accent. Would you rather listen to those videos in a foreign language and read subtitles in English, or listen to broken English?

Ecuadorian,
looks like I came on the survey first! That is unusual for me - I always find these thing a week later.
I think there is less chance of the listener (reader) misunderstanding if the creator of the guide speaks his/her own language and there is a good written interpretation. If there is something wrong in the written translation, there are plenty of people on line to help straighten the text out - a two way learning experience. And - I guess it also depends on how "broken" the english is. Personally, in the USA Midwest, Chicago area - we have such a mix of people from all over the world that I am quite accustom to understanding a variety of accents and strange english reconstructions.

Given the nature of the material, id say its better to have something in a foreign language with subtitles. Would be a lot more informative for both native speakers and non-native speakers.
