How to change a 3D text?

I'm looking for a thermometer with a digital display. The idea is to ask for the temperature and to display it with a 3D text.

Can someone tell me how to do that?

P.S.: is there somewhere a good tutorial for Dynamic Components. I'm looking for a full list of the attributes you can find in the dictionnary and for methods to create my own methods for OnClick.

Sorry, but you can't edit 3D text in SU, not even via DC.

Perhaps it would be possible to do something by hiding and unhiding number components?
