Snow in London
-
It was a pleasant surprise, really, when I left the Cinema yesterday evening and found roads, cars and buildings covered in snow - in the middle of London!
at midnight I was thrown out of bed by my flatmates for a snowball fight on Hoxton Square - we weren't the only ones...what is so fascinating is, that the snow seems to unite people. complete strangers stop in the roads and chat, all touched by this marvellous miracle of nature. almost everyone is behaving like children again... beautiful

of course in other parts of the world 20cm of snow are nothing (where I grew up (south of Germany, almost Switzerland) schools weren't closed down even at half a meter of snow...)
but in a huge city like London, where people are not used to it, this is truly a miracle of nature and renders a smile on everyone's face. -
London HAS STOP FOR BUSINESS... when is not the wrong kind of leafs then is the wrong amount of snow. well what better way to spend a Monday!

You can leave the plough at home, a hair dryer would probably suffice now.
