SketchUp Action Mode
-
first of all I have to explain, that I am in a very silly mood at the moment. you know that, when you are approaching the end of the working day and your head is full of nonsense...
(therefore I was not sure, whether to post this in the wish list or in the corner bar. but for it is a wish (oh my god it is so silly) for SU, I'll post it here for the time being).to spice up the work with SketchUp I would like to have an 'Action Mode'. when this mode is active, you will hear sounds for any action you execute, like in ego shooter games.
for example, if you switch from one tool to another, you'll hear a sound, like a gun being reloaded or a cool voice telling you, which tool is active (like in 'Crysis' the voice saying "maximum speed" or "maximum power" when you change your suite mode).
ideally these sounds would be remotely related to the tool they are linked to (line tool has a 'laser' sound, because it creates one straight line; push/pull tool has some massive base sound, for it is moving whole walls...)
any action, like creating geometry generates a sound as well; no matter if a line is drawn, a face is created or extruded, if geometry is being grouped or exploded!!!
that would be a whole new experience when using SketchUp - the most action filled 3D modeler ever!....
...
(sorry for using up precious server space. but I simply had to share this absolute ridiculous thought)

oh, yes. I forgot about the Homer Button. that one really gives a glimpse of what could be done...
do you think I should start a ruby request or would I be banned for life time from the 'ruby discussions' section?
