How do I make a face on the curve of this object?
Also, when posting on this forum, how do I attach a file so the image shows with the body of the message?
Thanks.

Hi Rick,
Although you could go on this way as well - connecting the endpoints of the segments of the two arcs - but it would be easier to simply draw an arc (with the diagonal so that it will fill in) and the use the PushPull tool to give it a height.
Have a look at this simple tutorial (on a different shape but with the same idea). Hover over the tool icons in the text to see what they're supposed to do.

The method i described in the tut is by far the easiest, although there are a few other ways if this isnt suitable.
As for placing an image in the body of the post, if you upload the file (using the upload attachment tab) the hit 'place inline' a little piece of code will be inserted in to your post that attaches the image, you can then move this around to position the image.
edit: beat me to it gai.

Thanks again folks. That was pretty simple. Is there a Ruby out there meant to create a face on a curved plane? I tried makeface.rb but no go.
Thanks. -
make faces is specifically to fill faces in areas that are flat. So its not helpful for what you want. there is a plugin called curvestitcher out there. Look for that one. It mgiht help,

It can be a bit choosy about the direction you drew your lines in, so watch out for that.
