SU V.7 and Chief Architect

SU V.6 models can be dragged and dropped into Chief Architect V.X1 and V.X2 models. It is a great relationship.
Until an updated API is released by Sketchup, V.7 models cannot be handled by Chief.
Will Google do this? Soon?

You can always save your SketchUp model as a version 6 skp while in SU 7
In order to be compatible with SU7 skps, the update would most likely come from Chief Architect and not from Google.
