V. 7 smoothing

This topic really buggs me. I have Sketchup 7, and I'm reading that subdivide & smooth is only for 6. How dose one overcome this?!!
I do need to smooth this object.

Use the free version of 6?!
You could just have it installed for when you need to use Subdivide - not like its big

its working on my Sketchup7 but the only thing it does not work simultaneouly with VraySR. now i dont know which is the probelm there. but my solution is simple. I retain my sketchup PRo6 with vraySR (no smoothe and subdivide) and i instralled Google Sketchup7 without vraySR and with smooth and subdivide....
thanks 2 Google sketchup with different versions can run at the same time in the same machine. -
