To keep this project in the same topic is the best i guess. I'm having a bit of trouble with the window. when i put a transculent material on it it don't seem to work as it should. see image attached. any idea what the problem might be ?

It looks like z fighting, where 2 faces are in the same place and SU cant decide which one should be displayed. If you intersect the window with the model and then delete the face behind the window you should be able to get rid of it.

              Hallo Mannie,

The wall is showing threu the glass.
Make an opening in the wall as big as the window.

                        Hi Rodrigo,

Yes, it is an architectural template. I saved one for you (in SU 6); here it is attached. You can put it into your Templates folder and use it as your template.

I left Sang (who changed Bryce in SU 7 now) in it - you can purge him prior to saving it if you don't want him in the template. Also, the original template is in feet/inches OR millimetres; this one is in mm's as I suppose you use that.

                          Thanks Gaeius, downloading now.

I am actually thinking to upgrade to SU7 (no the pro), what do you think about it? I actually read the topic about of su7, but... not have clear, to much opinions.

But, thanks anyway for your time.

I can't think of any reason to not upgrade. The new line breaking feature is different, but it is how I always wanted sketchup to work personally.

Also, the free version might be different, but with Pro you can keep su6 and su7 installed at the same time. There is no conflict there.

                            Chris

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.
