Tudor Village
-
This is based on a model I made for a client last year, I wanted to finally texture it and put a scene together with it (my part of project was only the modeling)
Anyway I finally got around to it (credit crunch has slowed work down enough for me to play... not sure that's a good thing)Solo's Tudor Village.
Everything excluding trees was made with Sketchup, rendered with Vue.

OMG!
-
beautiful work
-
Aside from the excellent modeling Solo, you have caught the required
atmosphere which I think is often more important with this particular
scene -
Can be integrated at this project
-
Love it Pete, looks just like the Shambles in York (minus the cart and plus a few hundred tourists).
-
the sketchup model was cool enough in of itself...haha.. very very cool.. you are definitley getting Vue to grow on me.
-
Excellent, Pete..!!

I have to say that I'm definitely also being inspired by seing many of your latest renders...
Vue is incredible when it comes to building the surroundings and the environment... -
I love the look of the early morning light. Just lovely! I had my boys look at your original post awhile back. They think it's for one of the games they play, I can't remember which one they said.
Great job, Pete!

As always, looks great. I don't know if ot's the lighting or render size, but the wood timbers appear as smoooth dark brown objects.
-
Hey solo, great atmospheric render! - is this Vue 7? Have you upgraded so far? What are the differences between 6 and 7 - any easier to operate?
-
Awesome stuff, solo. But the jpeg compression is killing me.
-
Yes, it would be nice to see this render in an uncompressed format. Awesome model...the render is a tad bit dark though. Is there a way to achieve softer shadows in Vue?

i really love this village, seen something like that on your website too and this type of if cou van call it "world" really is a cool thing to build. just one question...do you ever sleep????
-
WOW Pete. What can I say? This is really something. Beautiful image.
-
