    hey there

i checked out the advices from another fourm how to render a photomatch after exporting to .3ds - reimporting it...and then to render it with podium.

i tried to export my .skp model to .3ds file but i can t even open the exportdialog "options" and when i click "export" the status bar appears but nothing happens except the dashed line runs for hours!?

by the way, im working with a mac and the su pro version 6

i already installed su new but the problem remains the same...

    thank you for answers!

Are you sure you have the latest bugfix version of SU?

Is your SU preferences file (plist) corrupted? You might try trashing it and restarting SU.

        Hi there,

It sounds like your plist may be the culprit. Go to your <username> > Library > Preferences directory and rename the com.google.sketchuppro.plist to something else. Relaunch SketchUp.

        Does that help?

i tried everything you suggested. first i renamed the plist after that i deleted it.
the only thing happened was, that the toolset didn t appear while launching

i downloaded a studentversion today(6.4.245) should be the actual one.

do you have another idea??? now i pay a lot of money but still the function i need isn t working, thats really annoying...

              Hi Hannsen,

I'm so sorry that I didn't respond to you earlier. I started a response, but I must have forgotten to hit "Submit".

There is one more thing I can think of to try. In addition to deleting the com.google.sketchuppro.plist, could you also delete the com.AtLast.sketchup.plist (assuming you have one). Does that help?

If not, contact the technical support folks at Google using http://sketchup.google.com/gsu6/support.html.

Are you, by any chance, using a localized version of the product? I guess that could be another potential source of the problem.

              Best,

              Tricia
