he wanted to chat.

at the risk of sounding like everyone else: welcome to the forum!
no chats, just you replying to other people's cool stuff and other people replying to your cool stuff. and of course with a touch of humor. otherwise we'd just be a bunch of nerds talking in software jargon about a 3-D modeling program. wait a second.... that didnt come out like i had hoped.
anyway, welcome to the forum.

Isn't the SketchUcation ChatRoom still open for business?
-
I don't know. I never knew there was one. I'll go check it out.

Hi guys,
as you know the main **SketchUcation**site is under construction. When finished, it will not only host and integrate SCF but also (most probably) a feature rich chat software, too. All we'd like to do is to integrate the forum and the chat so by signing in to the forums, your ID would also identify you in the chatroom (and such tidbits). (At least that's what we've been planning - hope Coen can implement it)
Maybe even video conferencing and streaming screen capture video conferencing?
-
well, that sounds awesome, Gaieus!
and from there the next step to an instant messenger window within SketchUp (connected to the chatroom and to the forum)...
-
Ah yes, and interactive collaboration on SU models!
-
... which leads us to this thread again
