Opponent attacks... retreat... feign surrender...... draw your opponents forward, their weapons holstered, hands outstretched........ while you regroup and attack. I'll give you credit where it's due Jimmy- the first two maneuvers were extremely well executed, I keenly await the inevitable conclusion of this classic tactic. 👍

Before anyone else walks with Mike towards Jimmy with olive branch outstretched, he has stated many times that he likens himself to a boxer, that to him discussion and combat are one-and-the-same, his role is Antagonist Supreme and that in his 40-something years he still gets the same kick for riling folks (or "ruining somebody's night" in his own words) as he did in his youth. I'll admit I fell for it way-back-when, he's a master sledger (cricket term, a gentlemen's sport except when it comes to words), knows which buttons to push and then sits back and watches the show while preparing the next attack. God knows, many of us SCF members know so much about each other we could publicly crucify each other if we were that way inclined... thank God we're not. Ask yourself if, on the basis of one apologetic post (retreat, feign surrender) in reply to a mysteriously eloquent first-time poster (opponent attacks) you believe that he has switched life-long loyalty? Honestly, I'm disappointed any of you fell for it.

I still don't understand why he does it, it's not the way I was brought up, but he has skills and in the case of some of the contributers to this thread he is always one step ahead of you... even when he's retreating. 😉

    Kudos, Mackel, kudos. 😎

Honestly, I don't understand zip of everything you write in this thread.

I do digg Graigs bike experience though 😉

For details about "Way of Cain", see Genesis Book, please!

          ...or initiate a new track!

"Caine", not Cain, is w/ that "Kung Fu"...

            No, that's still Judas (1.11):
"Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core."

But then let's not go offtopic really (BTW what IS the topic here?) 😒

I know, Cornel - it was a kind of a joke as this thread has been meandering in so many ways and no-one cares any more to stay on-topic.

                          "Sir"(Kwistenbiebel),

I’m suggesting to know The Bible, not only to read it…,
…and to know God, not only to know about Him!

“Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”
                          (Psalms 37:4)
                          or
“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.”

As you can see, it's different than "9-11 conspiracy"!

                          ..."yes, sir!"

Well, I am not going to base my life upon a single book.

I guess Genesis will reveal a lot of wisdom when getting into it, but so does Sophies World and thousands of other written stories.

Besides, I love the music more than the book, although Phil Collins is kind of a bore.

lol. Don't tell me you read Heidegger. I mean: without someone holding a gun to your head? 😄

And as for Heidegger and wisdom ... Not really. Lots of made-up words and metaphysical babble. And bad writing. 🤢

He he, I deleted Heidegger from that post even before you formulated your answer to it.
(The reason for deleting is that I don't know a 'book' from his hand, so no need for me to look more fancy than I really am).

Knowing yourself is knowing the others. I got that...but I think you didn't spell that second part correctly.
