Weird shortcuts problem

This is a bit of a stab in the dark, as i've never had this happen before ad i probably cant reproduce it, but i was working on a model when suddenly all my shortcuts stopped working, it was really weird and completely unworkable, but it disappeared when i restarted SU.
Any ideas what might have been happened?

Actually that happened to me a while ago. I just can't get to the selection function with spacebar. Like in your case it disappeared when I restarted my computer.

did the shift key freeze as well? and the number input too?

I cant remember, i just abandoned ship and restarted SU before i could test anything else.
