Sketchup and autocad -Mitchel stangl

Hi all
Did anyone see Mitchel's talk on autocad/sketchup at basecamp. I downloaded the video as I live in Australia anyway..
His technic is fine but the problem is how does he do hidden lines ? as the sketchup model is only a surface not solid and the solprof/soldraw command don't work Andrew -
