So Take the place to the young
5 years it's something! -
I whatched the whole match (5 hours without rain breaks!). it was the most thrilling tennis match I have ever seen in my life!
my thumbs still hurt today (Germans squeese their thumbs instead of crossing fingers - very useful when tense and in the need of releasing some energy )
-
Damn...now I regret not having watched that game .
Ignore my previous post -
Some of the tie breaks were fab (running out of superlatives ) There were some very impressive passing shots played, especially from nadal.
-
I supported Federer (of course).
but at least this way Nadal shed tears of joy and not of frustration
-
Nothing against Tennis but I'm ready for some FOOTBALL!!

Our house was divided as it always is when when Federer and Nadal play. I've been a fan of Federer since the beginning of his career, when all the comments about him were "He'd be unstoppable if he could keep his emotions under control", and sure enough... now he's the picture of coolness, even under the gun with his biggest rival. You could see he was seething and that last mistake he made to lose the championship, but after a few minutes you could see him looking at Rafa and celebrating his happiness. Needless to say my bride is smitten with Rafa...we've followed him his whole career as well and he's really grown into a man, yet he still acts like a teenager when submitted to an english interview.
The great thing about the rivalry is that they're so different on the court. For BubbaLove's benefit: Federer reminds me of Joe Montana, not big at all, but always cool and in command. He can make any shot most of the time—Nadal has the ability to run down most all of them. At the end they were still both going at it like they could do it for another three hours.
Nadal reminds me of the great linebackers...take your pick. He's coming for you. He's relentless. Lawrence Taylor.
I can't wait to see them head to head on a hardcourt. I'll be cheering for Roger of course, but you gotta Love Rafa.

well said, Phil.
next year - Federer... Paris!!!

¡Muy bien hecho Nadal!

Ahhh. Wimbledon. The downs what a great venue for a sporting event. I cannot say that I am in complete agreement with the outcome however.
Secretairiet at 6 furlongs on a muddy track is usually a lock at 6/5 But his penalty kick is weak from the blue line is weak from his left. Not since the super secret winged keel
Has a outcome been more one sided. But my main point is after the 4th chucker wimbledon is not nearly as relevant as NASCAR.
