VCB not displaying.

Are you running SketchUp in maximized, full screen mode?
The Value Control Box only shows upwhen SketchUp is larger than a certain size.

It might be that he/she has not maximized the main SU window and it is hiding behid the task bar. Maximizing it should get the status bar of SU (with the VCB) back on screen.
This often happens.
