Women (lots of 'em)
Cold bed... everyone keeps talking about the pillow but what about the bed. Getting in it when it is cold only to make it warm... ahhh! Then when you start to get to warm... just move to the other side of the bed and start all over again! Man do I like to sleep or what!
Corona w/ lime (sorry.. just tastes better) on the beach! (commercials don't lie!)
Women...
Family, work (weird uh?), and my dachshund Frank!
My '03 Mazda Protege ES (electric blue) w/ my Batman sticker!
The Dark Knight (even though I haven't seen it yet!) It's gonna kick ass just like the CELTICS BABY!
Xbox 360, PS3 and everything associated with those systems!
Sketchup and SCF. Thanks to everyone involved with this Forum!

(Hey Y'all. Long time no see.)
Listening to Supper's Ready before sunrise.
The brakes on my truck.
Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey-Maturin books.
Superman Comics #202.
Lying down with a sleeping cat on my chest.
Dreams about flying.

With you on this one Phil!!!
It only happens to me on very rare occasions and it never lasts long enough, but it is the best dream ever -
- This:
Richard Diebenkorn, a better Wayne Thiebaud at his worst, but Matisse and Mondriaan rolled into one at his best. I wish I had a Diebenkorn. I can imagine myself sitting in front of it for hours, sipping coffee and smoking.

And let's not forget steak. Steak + handcut fries + decent mayonaise + glass of Urquell = heaven. Slice of tomato on the side.

Sunlight filtered by curtains.

Eloquence without arrogance.

Architectural models. Real ones, I mean. There's a peacefulness to them you don't find in everyday life.

Did I mention steak?

David,
It's funny that you posted an image of the car instead of the wife.'No honey, don't put my picture up'.....'but what? you post the car instead?'....'So you prefer the car over me?'... etc.
Sometimes you just can't do the right thing: the female paradox.

I forgot to mention one of my more important ones:
Things that work, i really like things that just do as there supposed to without you having to mess about with them.
-
- the original 'Star Trek' series
- the three-part program Alain De Botton did on architecture
- shortbread cookies
- Bernard Malamud
- a clutter free, well-organized work space (does it exist?)
- my girlfriend
- my cats
- the early work of the Dutch writer Gerard Reve (I used to write for a living - but never will I be able to write like Reve)
- This book: http://www.taschen.com/pages/en/catalogue/architecture/all/02926/facts.the_a_z_of_modern_architecture.htm
- the plumber who once said to me: "No need to be ashamed, mate. It's not like we sh*t bonbons."
- my former colleague Jim, a hard drinking, foul mouthed and ill tempered American in his sixties. Bush lover, right wing christian - but I adore him. Can tell a tall tale like no-one else. Helped me through a tough time. I never agree with him. Never.
- seeing my friends grow up. They're doing well. I like that.

I've been enjoying this thread. Thanks to all for sharing. I took most of the text in the thread and fed it into a little online program called Wordle which produces a word/tag cloud of the words in the submitted text. Kinda fun.

I seriously consider printing it out and decorating my bedroom with it.
