Push\pull faces behind
-
Hi,
Is it possibe to push\pull faces located behind other faces (in x-ray mode) ? I hope it is possible.
Thank you.

I don't believe that!
Just rotate the view or hide some "front faces" (Right Click / Hide) then PP is possible
Only edges can be directly selected in XRAY modeThis plug + hide can be useful for speedy selection in complex situations

Thank you for the quick reply.
I wish someone could able to write a script for that. Then it will be very helpful to do things in xray mode.
Thanks for the script. I am going to check it out.

The right Click / hide takes an 1/10 of second

Alphavill,
Not just like that. In X-Ray you can only get to (i.e. select or work on) edges, guides, components and groups (by their edges) etc., not other faces.
There is a simple workaround, create two shorcut keys, one to 'hide', the next to 'unhide last'. This is my approach:
Window > Preferences > Shortcuts > assign "Edit/Hide" to key combination [Ctrl+U]
Window > Preferences > Shortcuts > assign "Edit/Unhide Last" to key [U]Now to come back to your question:
-select front face > hit [Ctrl+U]
-apply push/pull on back face(s)
-hit [U]Wo3Dan

Pilou and Wo3Dan,
Creating hide/unhide shortcuts will help me a lot I guess.
Thanks again for your detailed answers.
