Sketchup and leopard

does someone know what the deal is with sketchup and leopard? I've been having multiple issues since switching to a mac-- scale problems and frequent hangs primarily. or is it just me?

yep, read the leopard hang fix. it didn't fix. searching the internetz left me feeling there was a larger problem. this is the "discussion" thread, so maybe you discuss now rather than insinuating that I am dumb.

What sort of mac, which release of SU?
I have a 2.4GHz 24" iMac and a 1.8GHz MB; no problems that I know of on the iMac with SUpro 6.4.245 and the previously mentioned selection related problems on the MB.

I'm running OSX 10.5.2, on a macbook pro 2.6 GHZ, and SU 6.4.245

I run SketchUp from my intel macbook pro (same model as you) in Leopard and a XP boot. No real problems at all. I do use the XP boot more though.

PC user here, but I still read Mac problem threads.
There is a problem with MacBook Pro. It seems to be a combination of the OS, GPU and driver, and hardware (probably specific chipsets in the new machine) that are not playing together well. Search here, GSU Pro Groups and GSU Free groups for more info - using 'macbook pro' as search term.
Apple, GSU, ATI/AMD and NVIDIA are trying to fix things.
Since you are 'blessed' with a problem, and if you want to help fix the problem, SU folks need specific information. Like detailed system information, detailed descriptions of the problems, skippy files and screen shots - in other words, they need the whole nine yards (US WWII slang. Turret machine gunners in big figther airplanes had 9 yards of ammo between reloads.)
In this forum, use the SketchUp Bug Report sub-forum. Or contact SU support directly or use Google Groups.

I guess I don't use it enough to experience those problems. The only reason I use the XP version on the MBP, would be the lack of certain shortcuts in the OSX version.
