RE: Do you leave a note?
Funny story similar to this (well funny from the outside)
My boss drives a 1980's Porsche (not the best one out there, but still very nice) He was parked in his reserved parking spot out front of our office. A lady that works in another office in the same building hopped in her Chevy suburban and backed out over the corner of my boss's Porsche. Realizing what she did, she hammered the gas, and pulled out of the parking lot in a hurry. The owner of a 3rd office in a building happened to see the whole incident and got her licence plate number. He came and told my boss what happened, and gave the licence plate number over, which my boss then reported to the police.
That night the police found this woman, and gave her a hit and run ticket, (the second worst ticket you can get in Alberta) and a driving with undue care and attention (the worst ticket you can get in Alberta) due to this, she is going to have to pay for both tickets (around $1300) and for replacement parts and labour on my boss's car. She has also lost her licence (because of these extreme tickets) and will have to re-take her drivers test, and a drivers ed course.
My boss, once his car is fixed has decided to sell it, and use the money, and head down to the states to buy a new Porsche Carerra
so, these things you see, don't always turn out with the good guy losing

RE: Do you leave a note?
have only hit a car in a parking lot once, and I didn't leave a note (couldn't afford anything at the time) and I've regretted it every day since

RE: Cats!
I'm curious, is your cat an indoor or outdoor cat? de-clawed?
The reason I ask, is because my girlfriend has a 14 year old cat that looks very unhealthy, It never really goes outside (it's not allowed to), and basically sleeps all the time. Where I have a cat that is allowed to come in and out of the house as she wishes, and besides getting a little more picky about her food, I haven't noticed any real signs of ageing, and she is pushing 16 now...
anyways, beautiful cat! among my favourite pets!

RE: Hollidays
It's times like this I wish I lived in Europe! So many different cultures so close by!
I'm not able to afford to go anywhere too too far, so I'm off to Montreal! where the highest concentration of beautiful women exists in the world! ahahah
Where do others from North America like to vacation? I love Mexico, Vancouver Island, and interior BC during the summer, Montana, and interior BC during the winter.

Weathers Gone Mad! (jul 20 2007)
Same kind of weirdness over here!
We've had a crazy heat wave for the past week or two, its been above 30 degrees! but then we've also had 3 severe storm warnings, a tornado, and extremely large hail (80mm in diameter!)
anyone else having bizarre weather like this?

I found the problem, you have no steering wheel... ahahah

RE: Corner Gas...
I like the show, not my favorite, but it definitely does have some quirky Canadian humour in it.
It's set in Saskatchewan right? you have to entertain yourself if you live out there! lol
now a great Canadian tv show that was canceled unfortunately was 'made in Canada' It was one of rick mercer's projects, and was absolutely hysterical, if you can catch it ever, please check it out!
also, another shameless plug for anyone interested in Canadian politics, check out rick mercer's monday report, its like Leno, colbert, and the daily show all rolled into one comic genius!

RE: Violent videos on Google TouTube (July 2007)
a lighter, and funnier note that gained popularity on youtube, are food fights in schools. Theres a bit of a competition on youtube running for the biggest cafeteria food fight, lol.
A bunch of kids were arrested in Montreal, when they broke out into the biggest one yet

RE: DWC tech and beyond...
Tom,
I can never get enough of your work! I love this image, the colours all flow very naturally, and it really feels like a great watercolour. The vibrantness, everything, its perfect!
Now, That cutie, do you know her, is she single, and does she want a date with a Canadian boy?
