I have the same problem of Layout dimensions not matching Sketchup's. I tried selecting "Hybrid" as well as "Vector" mode in the model dialog box but still having trouble getting the accurate dimension. All dimensions are actual true 1:1 in "paper space" and are not scaling to the size of my SU object.
