RE: Maritime Experience
Hello Bob, it was all built on derelict dockland, it was constructed around 20 yrs at a cost of £26 million along with the marina. 100 of "apartments" were built, the majority now rented as social housing (now thats progress). It staged the 2010 Tall Ships Race at a cost of £2.8 million to the local tax-payers - long live the council.

Maritime Experience
Hartlepool Maritime Experience; After the demise of ship-building in Hartlepool, the former docks were redeveloped into a Marina. Part of this development was a dry dock and museum, this is a model of a small portion.

RE: Greatham Village Post Office
@Rich O'Brien , Never tried geomodeling I may look into it.
@Pyroluna, The car models from the wharehouse. The house will have had lintels above the windows but in past times the fashion seems to have been to render over everything.
@HvanEssen, I modelled this building from Google Maps:- http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl and tweak it until it looks about correct. -
RE: Rural Village
Thanks Bob, a bit of tweaking in PS as I wasn't too happy with the colours:-

Hello Bob, I'm not sure where I got this texture from. I will have a look for you.

Thanks Pete, I was thinking of modelling them into a village scene.

RE: Stoneacres
Thanks Lads, I used V-ray, as pointed out the glass turned out not so good.

RE: Captain James Cook Cottage
Hello jsteacy, sorry about spelling your name wrong, it was unintentional. I modelled the roof tiles, I think they always look better and they don't take long. Thanks for the comments, John.

RE: Captain James Cook Cottage
@ Roger, Thank you, we are spoilt these days.
@ FilipAGuy, Thank you, I'm using V-ray. I'm new to it as I've been using Podium, it takes a bit more learning but really the results are very similar.

RE: Captain James Cook Cottage
Thanks all.
@Mike Lucey, I've never done an interior scene, so... I better leave it to the experts.
@Bryan K, thanks again.
@jsleasy, Agree it could be improved but as always where do we stop and say its finished.
