    • RE: Is this possible? [code] batch export

Hey guys, thanks for your help so fast!

      I want to export to

      .3ds
      .dwg
      .dae
      .obj

I would be willing to bash my return button a few times to make those pop ups go away. Is it possible that way?

Keep in my I have no idea how ruby's work, so that piece of code looks really fancy to me but what to do with it is beyond me. πŸ˜›

    • Is this possible? [code] batch export

I was wondering is there a ruby out there which does this?

I have to export my 3D models in several 3D extensions. Its a time consuming thing to do by hand if youve got to export 10 models in 5 different formats each time. So I was wondering can this be automated with a ruby?

      Something like this:

      • Open model
      • Click Ruby
      • Tick the 3D extensions you want your model exported in
      • Select a folder all these exports go into
      • Press okay and supress any file name errors by automatically accepting them (3ds and a few more replace the spaces between words with underscores and asks if this is okay)
      • SU starts exporting each 3D extension one by one with just that one click

Is this possible, or is something like this out there? It would mean the world to me.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!!

No Im guessing very expensive especially for so few cars in a small building, I have seen this principle for very big car parkings under buildings but never in such a smale scale for individual parking on different floor levels.

    • RE: Technical Question for an Ipod

For those who are interested in this:

      I tried EVERYTHING;
everything from cheapass converters to quicktime pro to adobe premiere CS3, nothing was able to sync up my vids.

So I went even further experimenting with all settings in all programs and I came to this simple conclusion:

When converting from avi to mp4 the video speeds up, well I dont know how much exactly but its roughly about 4fps.

So all you need to do to sync up your vids for your IPod is just decrease the original framerate (usually 23,97) to 20 fps for tvshows and you will be fine.

I recommend trying ImTOO iPod Movie Converter it gave me the best results with little processing time opposed to the standards such as quicktime pro and premiere CS3.

Ow yes I have not yet verified this but the bitrate of the movie should be 768 as specified for the IPod system specs, not sure about this though seeing I just did it and didn't question if this was true or not. Will let you know when I do.

Also because you recode to 20 fps the entire image will still have a smooth experience, however with for instance a full 360 camera pan you will notice that it isnt entirely smooth because some frames are not there. Though this is only noticable when you look REALLY hard.

      Sorry for bumping πŸ˜›

    • Technical Question for an Ipod

Well I recently got myself the new Ipod Nano.

Awesome little gadget if you ask me with a 2-inch liquid crystal display which is RAZOR sharp with it's 320-by-240-pixel resolution at 204 pixels per inch.

So this little screen is just screeming for movies. So I got myself the IMtoo converter. What this thingy does is it converts avi and such to mp4 formats. Great gadget converts properly quality of the movie is still awesome.

Now here comes the big hairy but:
The audio ALWAYS goes out of sync after a while in the movie. Now I have been checking in to the reason why. And one said framerates other said size one said fixable other said not; etc etc. No good answer.

So I was wondering could I get some help with this because I am at a loss.
      Let me know!!

    • RE: Cellphone

Hmm interesting, though 300 dollar sounds unreal. Seeing every country has it's own edge network (I think??) or something similar.

But for me the Iphone is off the map, it's been overhyped anyway. Everyone will be running around with one soon.

I am considering getting an Ipod Shuffle though.

    • RE: Cellphone

Hmm it would seem that that would be a deal killer however an Ipod is accesible through other means than I tunes so perhaps the same could be true for the Iphone?

But you got to admit the X800 is a very good match for the Iphone if not more than a match.

    • RE: Cellphone

I am currently still leaning towards the glofiish x800. Main reason is that I have heard SEVERAl occasions that the Iphone's touch screen just said no after three months or became insensitive on certain spots, which called for repairs. Above that I HATE Itunes, I just want to click and drag my mp3's from my hard drive without going through I tunes or not even beeing able to drag them because they are not "autohorised or whatever" That and following the Hype with the Iphone is just a little too much for me, beeing unique is something I prefer. Though the Iphone has a wicked design (apple of course) I very much like the design of the Glofiish. Also very clean. So Anyone that can convince me otherwise?

Yes (T-Mobile) - No Connection Problems

And it even has frikking support of office and pdf, and GPS
So I don't think the Iphone can top that.

Ive found it πŸ˜„ the E-Ten glofiish X800:
      http://www.engadget.com/2007/03/15/e-tens-glofiish-x800-everything-but-the-qwerty/

It does not get any better than this at the moment. Though I couldnt find if it was released already in the Netherlands. Or in any other country for that matter.

But I want it no matter what, it's better than an Iphone and it has GPS how insane is that πŸ˜„. This thing has my name written all over it πŸ˜›

I don't think so for him that is probably a natural way to move his fingers, did you ever look how your fingers are bend when you type? Its also very unatural but you got used to it. I think this is the same.
